Mumaw Umwaw
Ithorean Noble
Mumaw grew up on Ithor with merchant parents. Her mother was elected a junior noble, and she followed in her foot steps. While learning the noble duties expected for when she was older, she was also training to be a merchant in hopes of taking over the family business.
When Mumaw was twelve, she helped a Neimoidian who claimed to be in trouble and needed supplies to get back to his home planet. However, he used the supplies to attack the Mother Jungle, destroying a section of it. Mumaw's act of betrayal caused her to be banished from her home planet and sent away to be traded. The banishment stripped her of her junior noble status.
The traders were not able to get rid of Mumaw and decided to leave her on the farthest land they were visiting. Abandoning her with only the one plant she could carry from Ithor on Ghomrassen.
She spent the next year trying to make the new place feel like home. She planted the plant and watched it grow briefly but the climate was too different and eventually the plant gave up and died regardless of what she did for it. Mumaw saved the last few leaves for medical purposes and went in search of other flora. While searching she came across a wounded Jedi. With the assistance of the leaves and a few weeks of recovery she healed the Jedi.
When it came time for the Jedi to return to Tatooine he invited Mumaw to travel with him. Desperate to reconnect with other Ithoreans, Mumaw accepted.
Once on Tatooine, the pair leaving Mumaw to search on her own. She was pleased to find a familiar looking tree after a few days and this renewed her hope in the search. The next day she stumbled into a cantina and found a herd of four banished Ithoreans. The herd connection she thought she needed and wanted during the year on Ghomrassen wasn't filled being with the group. She gave it a couple months but didn't make the connection she wanted or needed. So she set out on her own to find what she longed for.
While wandering, she came across a partially dismembered 2-1b medical droid. With the droid's guidance she attached the pieces. The willingness to help and attention to detail surprised the droid into making a deal with her. If Mumaw would assist in getting the droid back to her rightful owner (a droid collecting Ortolan), she would teach the Ithorean cybernetic surgery. The couple traveled the planet in search of someone heading in the direction of Orto willing to add two more to their flight roster during the day and training for surgeries in the evening. A Muun was interested in the story and offered to fly them with a warning, however, that there was someone trying to take his ship and most of the goods he brought to help the outcasts.
As warned during flight the ship came under attack destroying the shield and injuring the pilot. Without hesitation 2-1b started medical treatment while Mumaw took control of the vessel enough to dodge other shots and shoot back. Putting the attacking ship on the defense she was able to get away and land on the next safe planet. They were able to find someone to fix the shield and give the pilot time to heal. This time was spent sharing stories about how 2-1b was stolen then left on Tatooine, and Mumaw explained being shunned off her home planet and losing the chance of being a noble.
When both were ready to fly again, he decided it would be safer to land on his home planet before continuing to Orto. Thinking less time continuously in the air would create less of a chance of getting attacked. He also wanted to introduce the pair to some of his friends after they saved his life and ship. Little did Mumaw know, he planned a celebration for her brave and caring acts to make her an honorary noble. The celebration was the second night before they were set to leave. She was ecstatic at the news and felt a sense of peace she had not felt since Ithor. The pair were told that anytime they needed anything they could come back to the planet as long as they stay on the track of healing and helping.
They were not welcomed on Orto like they thought they should have been. There were reward posters on each building for the return of 2-1b, and even the locals saw the droid they attacked Mumaw and the Muun thinking they were the ones who stole him. Once the droid reunited with her owner, she explained the heroic measures and kindness Mumaw showed her and that she was not the thief. Finally the reward was split between the ones originally accused.

Holo-Log: Shen-Kai Shek
Entry 1:1-
I start this log to journal my adventures and experiences, for this is my first mission without my master. The mission starts with the unexplained disappearance of a republic informant by the name of Quailey. It seems that Quiley, a Twil'lek woman, has some republic assets in her possession, whether it be people or items is unclear to me at this time. Master has informed that I will be taking on this mission with a group of individuals that I will be meeting in due course.
Entry 1:2-
I have met my comrades in arms for this trip/mission to find our lost agent Quailey. I am to take this on with a Mon Calamari by the name of Meena Eeriin, a scout, republic or other wise is unknown; an Ithorian called Mumwa Ummwa, a noble from the Ithorian home world of Ithor; a republic solider named Talos, unknown planetary origin; a Kal Dor going by the name Zhann Dor, a scoundrel by trade; and the Kal Dor's scout partner, a Wookie named Tarrfahr.
I feel that I should expand on each of these characters, because they are indeed their own personality:
Meena Eerin- The Mon Calamari I know the least about at this point. I have not had the chance to talk to her, however I feel that I can trust in her and her skills. She is an apt scout, whether she is beholden to the republic as an army scout or if she is a freelancer is still unknown to me. Either way I feel no ill will from her. I cannot wait to see the skills of an experienced scout at work.
Mumwa Ummwa- The Ithorian seems to me to have a possible troubled, or at the least a long past. I feel a kindred spirit in her; the Ithorians have always given me a clam. their respect for life and willingness to help those that they can is a light in a dark galaxy. I also feel that besides the kindness in the young Ithorians heart, Master has brought her along because of her wiles and deep pockets; probably knowing that several different kinds of trouble may be coming our way.
Talos- I feel that I know just as little about this solider as I do Meena. The only reason that I may know him more than her is the fact that he is a Republic soldier. Trust worthy folk the soldiers. He is a nice fellow, and seems adapt at combat too. The only trepidation that I have about the soldier is that, in my experience, when dealing with other soldiers they seem to have an almost outwardly fake niceness toward Jedi, most likely because us Jedi are put on a pedestal by the republic senate; not that we have stopped them from doing so. Yet, I feel that he will prove to be kinder than most soldiers and more real than many.
Zhann Dor- This Kal Dor worries me a bit. He is agile and smart, which is needed in most missions. The only about him that worries me is that his profession deals with the seedy underbelly of the republic. I fear that if I listen to him to closely, I may be tempted to a path unfitting a padawan on the path to jedi knight. I do understand why Master has ask him along , his skills will be needed in the near future. I only hope that my initial thoughts are off the mark in this situation.
Tarffahr- The wookie I cannot understand, being the fact that he can only speak in his native tongue. Zhann seems to understand him without hardship. He is an apt pilot and by the fact that he carries ha bowcaster he must be a good marksman. He and Zhann seem to come as one package; the force forid they be separated for an elongated period of time, be that death or otherwise.
Entry 1:3- Nar Shadda
We landed on Nar Shadda today to look for Quailey, with no more information other than she was last seen here. for a scoundrel, Zhann seems to be light on credits. I gather that is mostly due to him having to get his ship back from a hutt.
First was a cantina on one of the top levels of this planet. Not much information could be gathered other than to go to the lower levels. We found ourselves in an apartment complex, unfortunately our wookie companion seemed to figure that intimidation was the key to our problems, and he was not wrong, but he scared off all possible informants. We found a Duros that may have some information and after some dealings with friends, Zhann got him a new apartment. To our dismay he knew nothing of our mission.
Our next stop was a house of ill repute. I felt very uncomfortable in this place but thanks to Zhann we seemed to have blended in. Mumwa quite and observant up until now took up the mantle of a dancer and got us information to move us forward. As well Talos payed the bartender enough to get more information and a name. The name was Calgir, I believe. A ruthless bounty hunter that gathers credits more with death than capture. I only hope that Quailey is alright.
Our information led us to a cantina called the the Gramorhean Paradise, and as the name suggests it was full of Gremorhean. But no leads could be found. Therefore we decided to head to our next stop on level 65A. On the way our wookie friend decided that the speeder we rented was to be fixed but he decided to do this while the speeder was in flight. luckily Zhann was used to such action and kept us from crashing. After a successful time under the hood, the wookie fixed our rented transport. Yet, he was just as proud and stood up after the fix sending him flying int the depths of Nar Shadda. Luckily on his fall Zhann flew under the falling wookie and the rest of us made a net to catch him and thus we did without incident.

Excerpt from Galactic history

Location Mid-Rim
Home to Kal-Tero Mining & Industrial Fabrication.
For most of it's existence Kirikaul was a barren uninhabited planet. It's surface comprised of plateaus and deep valleys filled with noxious fumes lethal to most life, was a nightmare to any foolhardy enough to set foot on it. If that weren't enough to make you feel unwelcome it's only native species is a cannibalistic quadruped lean with muscle and teeth that can shear threw Durasteel.
Due to these reasons it was written off as a dead planet unsuitable for colonization. It wasn't discovered until a young Duros named Kal-Tero set out on a geological survey of the Mid-Rim that Kirikaul was astronomically mineral rich planet. Seeing a once in a life time opportunity Kal-Tero immediately quit his survey and set about taking out as many loans for as much as he could. He then gathered several top names in mining, computer science, mechanical engineering and shared his grand vision for an untapped industrial planet.
Over the next 75 years Kal-Tero spearheaded the creation of Kal-Tero Mining & Industrial Fabrication, one of the most rapidly expanding companies in Galactic history, both in Industry and its expansion over roughly 1/4 of Kirikaul. It's ability to produce anything from circuit boards to star ship hulls was a true marvel and relied on its adjustable-automated fabrication technology. A secret that is jealously guarded to this day.
At the beginning of the Clone Wars KMIF (as it came to be known) saw a dramatic increase in orders as it developed ties to both the Trade Federation and the Republic. Kal-Tero in his venerable age thought that selling to both sides would insure KMIF's safety and wealth. Alas this was not the case. The Trade Federation saw a golden resource that could not be allowed to be shared with the Republic and when Kal-Tero President of KMIF and acting ruler of Kirikaul refused to join the Trade Federation they sent a fleet to subjugate the planet.

Shen-Kai Shek
Name: Shen-Kai ShekOccupation: Padawan Learner
Age: 17
Height: 5'9''
Weight: 145 lbs
Shen-Kai was born to the noble Shek family of the Aldraan system, and at a an age before memory he was tested, like all noble children, for force aptitude. He was found to be strong in the force and was whisked away from his family before any connection of association could be formed between them and their son.
Early life in the Jedi order was predictable but enjoyable. Shek was put through his tests and his training; listening intently to his Jedi elders and showing great interest and perseverance in all that he was asked to do. Once he was old enough to read he was drawn to the study of philosophy. He read all that that he could; eery treatise that he could find was devoured by his hungry mind.
With his hunger for knowledge and philosophy, he was taken as an apprentice early on by his master, who he has come to adore greatly. His master encouraged and pushes Shen-Kai to learn all he can about the force and in all its forms. He was taught and has learned what to trust and distrust in the force, but knowing at all times that the force has many forms and all should be revered, in one sense or another, and should as well be respected.
Because of his self learning and non-self teachings, Shek has seen the flaws with in the Jedi orders philosophy and how one sided that it can be. However, he still loves the order and seeks peace with the light side and shall defend it to his death. His goal to further the Order to even more greatness, as well as to push into something even great than it is now. He loves his life but is very neutral in all things,
He has been on a few missions but never without his master, or in the least with his master not far from contact and guidance. He is currently with his master now on a new mission but can feel that his trails may be fast approaching. Not knowing if he is ready to be a full fledged Jedi, he faces his new challenges with clarity and confidence.
Zhann Dro, Scoundrel of the Outer Rim
NAME: Zhann Dro
RACE: Kel Dor
CLASS: Scoundrel
AGE: 35
HEIGHT: 6'5" (2m)
Zhann Dro of Dorin grew up from a very wealthy family. Being the youngest child of six, when he was born his parents expected another force prodigy. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't. From an early age his parents saw him as a burden. His brothers and sisters were whisked away to the Jedi Academy, or to the Baran Do, while he stayed on his home planet.
When he finally came of age to join the military, his parents disowned him, saying "no child of ours could be such a failure as you". He tried everything to appease them, but nothing would do. Broken, and alone, he enrolled into the military academy.
Only sixteen he did what he could to master weaponry and the martial arts. For two years he excelled at blasters, computer technology, and could was a fairly good at simulated piloting. However, one night he came upon a group of commanders quarreling about Baran Do Sages trying to recruit young militants away from "this life." Fearing he would fail once again, the next day he packed his bags, and attempted to leave the planet. After using what little money he had to acquire transport off planet, he found it wasn't who he would have originally expected.
He sat in the cockpit with Jedi Master Plo Koon. He was visiting his home world to meet with the Baran Do. Upon leaving Plo had heard a story about a young Kel Dor trying to get off world, and felt he could oblige. When the two landed on Coruscant, Plo returned the money, telling him, "You may not have the same power your siblings have, but you have more drive to do good than any Jedi I've ever met." Before their paths split for now, he gave Zhann a small coin.
Working in the underworld of one of the most prestigious core worlds. Moving packages from the lower levels to all across Coruscant. Sometimes even ferrying information to the senates highest towers. Three years had passed since Zhann arrived on Coruscant and had stashed away enough credits to purchase his own freighter. Setting up a meet with a Twi'lek called Mulran Novar in "The Works". Upon meeting with the Twi'lek, Zhann found he was met with a trap. Three smugglers emerged and attempted to kill the young Scoundrel, not knowing Zhann had real training. Shooting down the newly emerged threats, Zhann proved that day he was not the put upon boy from Dorin any longer. Unfortunately, Mulran escaped that day.
Before leaving Coruscant for longer than he could imagine, Zhann took on his the largest cargo to date. Filling his HWK-290 with as much cargo as he could, he plotted a course for Nar Shaddaa. Landing on Cato Neimodia, he refueled and off loaded several crates of custom statues for a droid manufacturer called Lok Durd. With one stop before Nar Shaddaa the young scoundel plotted his course for Kashyyk. Landing on the the forest planet he was greeted by a clan of wookies led by Kallaaddik. The wookies spoke in grunts and roars, making a language barrier that he had never dealt with so severely. Kallaaddik partnered Zhann with a young Wookie named Tarffahr, unknowingly meeting a life long friend.
With the few months Zhann stayed on Kashyyk, his understanding of the language came to him gradually. Zhann and Tarffahr had grown a bond, adventuring around the planet. Finally Zhann had found and delivered a crate of parts to a leader on a secluded forest island. Knowing his job was complete it was onto Nar Shaddaa. There was one problem, Tarffahr wanted to join him, promising it would only be till Nar Shaddaa, then Zhann could drop him back on the planet. Zhann agreed with his new friend, and left for the underworld planet of Nar Shaddaa.
Nar Shaddaa was good to the duo. After offloading almost one hundred and fifteen metric tons of rations, arms, ship parts, and a few special data pads. While trying to deliver one of the pads, a Bounty Hunter called Kraspen Mar-Shayal intercepted them. She told Zhann and Tarffahr that the data pad held something that safe guarded a notorius Hutt named Yama Shan, and if this information got to it intended recipient, it would mean the downfall of Nar Shaddaa. Zhann wanted to review the datapad before he made his decision.
Zhann and Kraspen went to their ship, plugging the pad into the ship's holo terminal. Blue ghosts of memories past. It played out a council of Hutts talking about over throwing the current leader of the Cartel and taking it for themselves. Zhann knew this could start a galaxy wide dispute and could end his career before it began. Zhann conferred with Tarffahr, together they came to the conclusion of turning the pad into the leader of Nar Shaddaa Rath Smague. With the transfer of the datapad, Rath gave them a fake pad to infect Yama's servers. Before Kraspen left, she gave Zhann a personal deep space comlink.
With the infected datapad delivered, Zhann and Tarffahr took their riches off planet and returned to Kashyyk. With the wealth Zhann and Tarffahr brought back to Tar's home planet, they were welcomed back as heroes. Tarffahr had honored Zhann as part of his honor family. Zhann knew he had to keep his promise and leave Tarffahr. With a heavy heart, Zhann left Kashyyk, leaving Tarffahr with a long range comlink just incase Zhann was ever needed again.
Traveling from Kashyyk to Bastion, Mon Calamari to Utapau. A year passed, Zhann felt his ship was cold and empty without his honor family friend Tarffahr. Contacting him through the comlink, Tarffahr confessed he found that his wanderlust was too much, and he missed the adventure. Zhann returned to Kashyyk, and landing in Tarffahr's village. Grabbing anything they could of Tarffahr's belongings, and took off to the skies.
Across the universe the duo flew, amassing massive wealth. After the blockade of Naboo, the two started running arms, persons of interest, and most of all, information. Sneaking through the Trade Federation lines, extracting information from special operations that the separatists conducted, and returning it to the republic. Upon landing on a wayward moon Zhann and Tarffahr were ambushed by a group of mercenaries. They were after Tarffahr, there was a rumor of a Wookie in the Outer Rim causing problems. When they tried to execute the wooly man, Zhann jumped in front of the blaster bolt, taking it to the shoulder. Tarffahr shot down the mercenaries, and flew Zhann to the nearest medical base two moons away. After that night, Tarffahr swore to Zhann that he would never leave his side, a life debt.
Never leaving a name to their work in fear of being tracked down and killed, they were only known as "The Shadows of the Outer Rim". Working with other smugglers of all shapes and sizes, unfortunately they did run into trouble more than they would have hoped. Upon arriving on Ord Mantell, the two were met by a very familiar Twi'lek, Mulran Novar. Mulran had come under the wing of another part of Zhann's past, the Hutt lord, Yama Shan. This time, Zhann wasn't going to deal with this low life again. Letting Tarffahr distract Mulran, Zhann got the upper hand and put a blaster bolt through him. It was the first time Zhann had ever killed anyone in cold blood, and even though he knew what he had done was justified, it haunted him.
Meeting with a Mon Calamari called Meena Eerin, Zhann used her knowledgable with a star fighter, she ran interference, and helped infiltrate high security sites. Becoming fast friends, she worked with Zhann and Tarffahr extremely frequently for a good while. After a good year of working together, Zhann offered to let her join the rambunctious duo, but she declined. Even after that, their paths did cross more often than naught. She would scout for the republic, looking for the same thing Zhann was, money.
Years past, the republic had finally passed the Military Creation act, and work was war. Zhann had been partnered with a Jedi called Genovin Organ and his apprentice, shuffling their newest cargo from battlefield to battlefield. The Republic paid them handsomely, but it wasn't the same. The thrill of moving crates of goods across the galaxy lost most of it's excitement. After a long campaign on Muunilinst, Zhann and Tarffahr returned to Coruscant, where they looked into leaving the republic's grasp and returning to what they knew best.
Using Coruscant as a home base, Zhann began to see the republic wasn't where they belonged anymore. Getting ready to travel to Nar Shaddaa, Zhann ran into someone he never thought he would ever see again. Yama Shan had impounded their ship, and with it, everything they had amassed was locked upon this ship. Zhann had to watch as his ship, his prized blaster, and all his fortune was drug out of Coruscant space. Yama had hacked into the ships licensing, deleting that Zhann had ever owned such a ship, effectively leaving him as he had left Yama. Zhann Dro was stuck on Coruscant, with nothing but his cloak, and a light blaster. Zhann felt like he had almost twenty years ago, broken and alone.
Returning to the republic for help, they employed both Zhann and Tarffahr on Coruscant, to go where no republic soldier or agent could. Traveling the underworld, there were whispers of separatists in the core planets. When Zhann returned with this new information, the duo were called to a secret meeting. To where it would him, Zhann did not know...

Meena Eerin Bio
Name: Meena Eerin

Coming from a fairly standard family of five, Meena was the middle child, with less responsibility than the oldest but not babied like the youngest she struggled with her identity as a youngster. Once in school she showed a predisposition to design and a high aptitude for navigational skills. She entered an Academy dedicated to space travel after finishing school and went to several different planets in the studies there of.
It was this exploration that put her on the path of a Scout. After graduating from the Academy Meena left home and decided to explore on her own. While her family supported her it didn't take long for her to need to find work to continue her meandering across the galaxy.
The search for work took her all over, and while plenty of her early work was simple and innocent after a few years her name started to get out and she was approached by more un-savory people with jobs that sounded far more exciting.
Through this she met many people and amassed quite a fortune, one of her oldest connections being a Kel Dor name Zhann Dro. However with the recent loss of her ship in a dangerous mission she had to spend nearly all of her credits on a new one. She's a bit bitter about it.

Master of Shadow
He took a deep pull from his cigarra and gazed out over the horizon of Coruscant. "To think that a war was waged in these streets just a few short months ago." He mumbled to himself. A red light begins to blink on his desk. Absently he turns and flicks a switch and a vid begins to play. At first a grainy image of a Twilek appears, she leans into the camera and the image resolves. "Hey boss if you get this that means that all did not go according to plan. I tracked your targets down and got them out of harms way for now but the Federation wants these guys bad. I'm Heading to Narshadaa, hopefully we'll loose our tail there. Quailey out." she says and winks at the camera before all go's black. Brow furrowed he hits the intercom. "Yes Mr. Ohgan?" asks a perky voice from the com. "Deliah when was Quailey do back?" A brief pause occurs. "Conservative estimates put her arriving back three days ago sir."the com squeaks."Hmm get Lorbek on a secure line I'm calling in a favor."Ohgan ends the call abruptly, scowl upon his face. Nine years and not once had he welched on a job or lost an agent. Now it appeared both were a possibility.
